OK, so he didn't rap about the LSU football coach or his team's 2007 national championship, but he did show up at Miles' Rotary Club meeting to "just ... give his love and support to Miles." That's kind of awesome.[Yes, I know the photo shows Snoop in his usual USC gear, but he reportedly wore a Tigers jersey for the meeting.]
On a somewhat related note, last weekend I saw "Training Day" for the first time, and the scene in which Snoop, playing a wheelchair-bound crack dealer, gets the shit kicked out of him by Denzel Washington has become one of my all-time favorite scenes.

Well sure, but that was before LSU won the 2007 BCS. Now he's all about the love and respect. Mad props to him for realizing the error of his ways and being brave enough to change positions publicly. And he was right, too, to defend his team so unassailably in '07. Everything about Snoop Dogg is to be praised and admired, and I'm sure coach Miles would agree.
(Weird, though, how that guy last year used a similar headline gag and same picture on a parallel but opposite subject. Thanks for the link.)
